Center for Vision Research

The San Diego Eye Bank Resource Center was funded by a generous grant to provide autopsy eye tissues at no-cost to academic researchers who work in non-profit academic institutions in San Diego County. The resource center aims to support innovative, translational research that has the potential to lead to new insights or treatments for human eye diseases. Interested academic researchers in San Diego County should submit this questionnaire outlining their contact information, affiliation, research goals, tissue criteria and the recovery parameters. SDEB will review the applications after submission and request an official copy of an IRB approval letter or IRB exemption letter. SDEB encourages investigators who do not need the whole globe to share the resources with other investigators.
